Services for Judith G. Shaver, 63, Logansport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 7:30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, at her residence.
Born June 27, 1943, in Muncie, she was the daughter of John and Evelyn Vannatter Langsdon. She was married Dec. 1, 1962, in Fowlerton to Denny M. Shaver, who survives.
Judith retired in 2005 after 15 years as a nurse at the Logansport State Hospital and was a former nurse at the Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie for 27 years.
She was a member of the Helm Street Church of God. Judith enjoyed playing her piano, singing for weddings and funerals, gardening, her cats, her swimming pool and spending time with family and friends.
Also surviving are one son, Derek Shaver, Logansport; one sister, Jaynie Craun, Marion; one brother-in-law, Tom Shaver and his wife, Janet, Logansport; one sister-in-law, Deborah Carpenter, Logansport; eight nieces and nephews, Rick Craun, Marion, David Craun, Marion, Tim Leeman, Logansport, Stephanie Cripe, Brownsburg, Sarah Myers, Indianapolis, Drew Shaver, Logansport, Aaron Little, Italy, and Zachary Little, Honolulu, Hawaii.
Pastor Dean Snyder will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery in Logansport.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
