June R. Harmon, 79, Logansport, died at 2:02 a.m. Sunday, July 17, 2011, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born July 10, 1932, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Harvey and Daisy Mae Lantz Baker. She was married April 5, 1950, in Logansport, to Robert L. Harmon, who preceded her in death Dec. 9, 1999.
June retired in 2009 as a clerk for Walmart.
She was a member of the Eagles 323 Ladies Auxiliary. She was a former volunteer for the Boy Scouts for over 50 years and had received the Silver Beaver Award for her volunteer efforts.
Surviving are sons, Ronald L. Harmon Sr. and wife, Ann Marie, and Earl âBuckâ Harmon and wife, Becky, all of Logansport; sister, Mabel Wolfe, Logansport; brother, Claude Baker and wife, Helen, Logansport; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, Kenneth and Brad Harmon; two brothers, Harvey and Carl Baker; and one sister.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home, with Pastor Larry Phillips officiating.
Burial will be in Woodville Cemetery, Burrows.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
