June D. Zimmerman, 76, of Logansport, passed away Friday, June 27, 2014 at 8:35 pm in IU Methodist Hospital of Indianapolis.

Born February 16, 1938 in Jamestown, KY to the late Wallace and Opal "Pierce" Acree. June's first marriage was to Harold O. Waggoner who preceded her in death in 1978. She later then married John D. Zimmerman who also preceded her in death in 2000.
June previously worked at Federal Mogul for 17 years.

She was a graduate of Selma High School, enjoyed cross stitching, cooking and gardening. Her biggest passion was her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include one son, Guy (Deb) Waggoner, Logansport; daughter, Michelle (Tim) Hare, Carmel; Sister, Vivian McIntire, Kalamazoo, MI; five granddaughters, Sarah (Donny) Raderstorf, Galveston; Jessica (Cody) Brandt, Royal Center; Kelsey Storen, Long Beach, CA; Emma Storen, Indianapolis; Abigail Waggoner, Logansport; two grandsons, Christopher and Jeremy Waggoner, both of Logansport; six great grandchildren, Felicia, Jordan, Landon and Ashton Raderstorf, Kaitlyn Bault and Wyatt Brandt.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Scott Waggoner, four brothers and three sisters.

A celebration of life will be held at 7:00 pm Thursday, July 3, 2014 at the Gundrum Funeral Home.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3:00 pm until time of services on Thursday.
A private entombment will be held at the Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery near Logansport.

Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
