K-9 Fargo

Today, June 1, 2022 Fargo was relieved of all his pain and suffering caused by the return of his cancer, Osteosarcoma which took the lower part of his jaw March 2020. Just 2 years later, the cancer aggressively attacked Fargo’s entire body. Fargo was born April 3, 2015. Fargo worked for the Peru Police Department along with his handler Officer Samantha Raber from June 2016 until retiring due to complications from his cancer in January of 2021. Fargo was a loyal partner and a faithful friend. Fargo enjoyed jumping into the water chasing after his tennis ball. Fargo also enjoyed all of his squeaky toys which he left all over the house. Fargo will be missed horribly by his family. I want to give a huge shoutout to the Peru Police Department for showing up to honor retired k-9 Fargo before crossing that rainbow bridge! Well done guys!
