Kay K. Parsley, 78, of Walton, passed away Friday, July 11, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in Logansport.
Born October 15, 1935 in Detroit, Michigan to the late Reed and Alice (Eckart) Insley. On March 25, 1951 in Logansport she married Samuel A. Parsley who preceded in death August 17, 2004.
Kay was a former co-owner of Cass Farm & Home Improvements Inc. She was a member of the Blue Ball Church and BPW. Kay was an avid bridge player and former 4-H leader.
Surviving are four daughters, Patricia (Larry) Gunnell, Galveston; Teri (Rick) Canfield; Lori (Jeff) Roller; Kristi (David) Martin, all of Walton; fifteen grandchildren, Kim (Danny) Keating, Kokomo; Jennifer (Weston) Dresdow, Fort Wayne; Dana Canfield, Indianapolis; Justin Canfield, New Waverly; Brandee (Justin) Hoffman, LaGrange, IN; Barry Canfield, Melbourne Beach, FL; Samantha (Donny) Auten; KyLeigh Roller, both of Walton; Misty Roller, Avon, IN; Chad Roller, Kokomo; Heather & Shelby Fry; Erika, Lauren & Samuel Martin, all of Walton and several loving great grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM on Monday, July 14, 2014 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Hayes officiating. Burial will be held in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 - 5:00 PM on Sunday, July 13, 2014 and one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
