Keith Edward Altice, 83, Logansport, died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 28, 2010, in Chase Center in Logansport.
Born Feb. 13, 1927, in Walton, he was the son of Ross Altice and Dessie Tyre.
Keith was a retired painter for the Logansport State Hospital.
He enjoyed fishing and was a veteran of the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of Walton American Legion Post 418, Eagles Lodge 323 and VFW Post 3970. Keith attended First Assembly of God Church.
Surviving are daughters, Shaunita Cavanaugh and husband, Larry, Logansport, Darletta Muehlhausen and husband, Matt, West Lafayette, Hollie Younes and husband, Ashraf, and Heidi Elsayed and husband, Ahmed, all of Toledo, Ohio; son, Robin Altice and wife, Pam, Menifee, Calif.; sister, Opal Taylor, Walton; 10 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one sister.
Celebration of life services, with full military rites, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday at Main Street United Methodist Church. The Revs. Tom DeFries and Robin Altice will officiate at the services.
Burial will be in St. Johns Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call from 2 p.m. until time of services Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
