Kenneth Donald âDonâ Bell, 82, Logansport, died at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 10, 2010, in WoodBridge Health Campus.
Born Dec. 30, 1927, in Logansport, he was the son of Kenneth and Harriet Gray Bell. He was married June 18, 1950, in St. Paul Lutheran Church, Cass County, to Betty C. Vernon.
Don retired from Wilson Foods in 1990 after 20 years of service.
He was a 50-year member of Camden Mount Zion Masonic Lodge 211, Scottish Rite Valley of Indianapolis, Murat Temple of Indianapolis and Logansport Shrine Club. Don enjoyed snowmobiling, fishing and spending time at Bruce Lake.
Surviving are his wife, Betty C. Bell, Logansport; sons, Terry Bell, Sebring, Fla., and Mike Bell, Deer Creek; grandchildren, Ryan Bell and wife, Maggie, Avon, Mark Bell and wife, Melissa, West Point, Tom Bell and wife, Theresa, Mishawaka, and Tara Lundy and husband, Matt, Osceola; and great-grandchildren, Brady, Sierra, James, Tyler, Brianna and Alyssaj.
Don was preceded in death by his father, mother and stepfather, Wade Small.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Gundrum Funeral Home with the Rev. Teal Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Rock Creek Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, where a Masonic Service will be at 4 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Shrine Hospitals for Crippled Children.
