Kenneth Martin

Kenneth G. Martin, age 81, of Logansport, Indiana, died at 9:00 AM Monday, September 22, 2008 in Seton Specialty Hospital Lafayette, IN.

Born August 24, 1927 in Cass County, IN, he was the son of John Martin and Belle Roller . Kenneth married Shirley A. Atwood on July 25, 1948 in Logansport, IN, and she survives.

Kenneth worked as a Delivery Driver for Prairie Farms Dairy. he graduated from and Washington TWP High School.

Kenneth was a member of the American Legion Post #60. He was an avid bowler and was the bowling league secretary for over 30 years. He enjoyed golf, Cubs baseball and various other sports. He was also a former Cass County Softball Commisioner.

Surviving are wife, Shirley A. Martin of Logansport, IN, son, Steve Martin of Logansport, IN, daughter, Janet Fread & husband Mike of Kenner, LA, daughter, Judy Burkhart & husband Jerrie of Logansport, IN, daughter, Carol Williams of Kokomo, IN, daughter, Misha Leslie & husband Mark of West Lafayette, IN, daughter, Laurie Peake & husband Tom of Fairfax, VA, Grandchildren, Robert Masters, Kris Morris, Marisa Herron, Corey Burkhart, Kelley Burkhart, Morgan Leslie, Madison Leslie, Sam Peake, Eric Peake & Jamey Fread
8-Great Grandchildren .

Kenneth was preceded in death by three brothers.

Services will be held at Gundrum Funeral Home, September 25, 2008 at 10:30 AM with Rev. W. Frank Hibbard officiating. Interment will follow with full military rites in the Ever-Rest Memorial park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 24, 2008 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the at the Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport, Indiana.
