Kenneth ("Kenny") Lee Worman, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, friend, and proud veteran, passed away on July 9, 2022, in Lutheran Hospital of Ft. Wayne.
Born December 1, 1949, in Anderson, IN to the late Billie and Maya Josephine (Kutter) Worman. On October 31, 2004, he married Eva Jane Fleming who survives.
During his final days on this Earth, he was surrounded by close family and dear friends, and his loving wife, Jane Worman, who held him as he took his last breath.
Kenny loved Jane deeply, purely, and gently, and all who knew them basked in the light of their love.
Those who knew Kenny knew a man who could tell a great story and make a friend out of a stranger in a matter of seconds--a man who would go out of his way to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement, a man of strong integrity and kindhearted wisdom. Kenny was a Christian believer who lived out his faith and life by the teachings of Jesus Christ. He was a faithful witness to those he loved, saw God’s beauty in all things, such as, light reflecting on a still pond, a barn cat napping in the sun, freshly tilled fields, and verdant hills in the distance.
Kenny had old farming blood, but also a zest for entrepreneurship. He was a businessman in boots, and a creative, thoughtful problem solver. Kenny formerly owned Worman’s Lake Inc., Worman Auction for 41 years and owned and operated Worman Outdoor Solutions.
Survivors include his wife Jane and two daughters, Maya Worman and husband Eric Hyten of Carmel, IN, Nicole (Robert) Kouns of Lebanon, IN; two sons, Christopher (Alecia) Worman of TN, Kyle (Hilary) Worman of Whitestown, IN; Stepdaughter, Crystal (Nick) Wesselman of Flora, IN; Stepson, Aric (Shannon) Crane of Kokomo, IN; brother, Brent (Alyssa) Worman of Columbus, IN; 15 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Harry Hudson.
He also leaves behind a large extended family who will struggle to recover from his absence, countless friends and acquaintances who will miss him deeply, and grandchildren who will forever grieve the man they lost.
Kenny lived and loved the Lord and family, may his memory be a blessing.
