Larry Elpers

Larry “Joe” Elpers , 50, Logansport, died at 4 a.m. Sunday, March 13, 2011, at his residence.

Born in Logansport on Jan. 29, 1961, he was the sone of Bert and Shirley Wray Elpers.

Joe was a maintenance worker for A. Raymond Tinnerman Company.

Joe enjoyed playing pool and riding his Harley Davidson.

Survivors include two daughters, Devin Elpers, Walton, and Kasi Elpers, Logansport; parents, Bert and Shirley Elpers, Kewanna; companion, Nancy Smith, Logansport; sisters, Becky Stanton and husband Harold, Metea, and Sarah Zeider and husband Duke, Logansport; brothers, Tim Elpers and wife Pam, Walton, and John Elpers and wife Anna, Logansport; and grandchildren, Alivia Leeman, Blayne Leeman, Jarrett Elpers and Madalyn Lynch.

A brother, Jeff Elpers, preceded in death.

Services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home with the Rev. George L. Faull officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation is 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
