Larry Sallee

Larry G. Sallee, 70, Logansport, died at 6:32 p.m. Friday, May 7, 2010, at WoodBridge Health Campus in Logansport.

Born in Frankfort on Nov. 17, 1939, he was the son of Donald L. and Beatrice Davis Sallee. On Jan. 8, 1960, he married Avis A. Moss in Logansport.

Larry was the former owner and operator of Logansport Compressed Steel.

He was a member and governor of Logansport Moose Lodge 232 and Webb Chapel Church.

His survivors include his wife, Avis A. Sallee, Logansport; daughter, Anne Howell and husband, Jay, Logansport; son, Gregg Sallee and wife, Deborah, Logansport; mother, Beatrice Sallee, Naples, Fla.; sister, Connie Taylor and husband, George “Bill,” Naples, Fla.; three grandchildren, Isaac Sallee, Mason Howell and Abigail Howell; and mother-in law, Mildred L. Moss, Logansport.

He was preceded in death by his father, and his uncle and aunt, Raymond and Ann Johnson.

A celebration of the life of Larry Sallee will be at 6 p.m. Friday at the Logansport Moose Lodge.
