Lena Gertrude Myers, 86, Logansport, died at 10:35 a.m. Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born March 18, 1926, in Chalmers, she was the daughter of Samuel Wooldridge and Mary Effie White. She was married Dec. 1, 1945, in Logansport, to James I. Myers.
Lena was a former employee of the RBM.
She enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening, butterflies, bluebirds, her kitties and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her husband, James I. Myers, Logansport; sons, Robert J. Myers and wife, Diane, Russiaville, and Randall L. Myers and wife, Kathy, Logansport; sister, Alta Louise Davis, Delphi; brothers, Wilbur Wooldridge, San Bernardino, Calif., and Larry Wooldridge, Monticello; grandson, Brian Myers and wife, Rose, Greenwood; granddaughters, Erika Johnson, Moline, Ill., Lindsey Myers, Greenfield, Natasha Ploss and husband, Josh, Romney, Alisha Rigle and Marisha Rigle, both of Logansport; and four great-grandchildren, Eva Myers, Alexis Brooks, Taylor Lewis and Colton Ploss.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Wesley, Garland and Franklin Wooldridge; and one sister, Edith Faye Bergin.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Chaplain Larry Phillips officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
