Levellia Piercy

Levellia M. Piercy, 85 of Logansport, passed away Friday, September 1, 2017 in her residence surrounded by her family.

Born on May 26, 1932 in Patsey, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Hughie and Carrie (Hall) Townsend.  On December 31, 1949 in Walton, Indiana she married Paul T Piercy who preceded in death on July 30, 2010.

Levellia formerly worked for United Technologies as an assembler. She was a member of Bethel Temple Church in Logansport.

Surviving are two daughters, Vicki (Glen) Albright, Rochester; Paula (Robin) Moore, Peru; five grandchildren, Bryan (Kristy) Albright, Rochester; Tina (Michael) Paschen, Lucerne; Travis (Emilee) Albright, Kewanna; Domonique (Tom) Scheiter, Peru; Michael (Lacy) Moore, Peru; twelve great grandchildren; two brothers, Lemon (Diamond) Townsend, Kokomo; Bud Townsend, Noblesville; several nieces and nephews; special neighbors, Leo (Lucy) Spitznogle, Logansport; Mark (Cindy) Foust, Logansport.

She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Samuel Paschen, and a brother and sister in law, Orval (Jerry) Townsend.

A celebration of life will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 6, 2017 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bruce Russell and Bryan Albright officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Cemetery, Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 2:00 – 7:00 PM on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 also in the funeral home.
