Linda Downs

LOGANSPORT — Linda Sue Downs, 60, Logansport, died at 8:50 p.m. Monday, July 4, in her residence.

She was born Aug. 12, 1950, in Wabash, the daughter of Wiley Felabom and Gladys King Petty. She was married June 13, 1970, La Grove, Ind., to Franklin L. Downs.

She was a homemaker.

A 1968 graduate of Northfield High School, Linda enjoyed spending time with her children.

Survivors include her husband, Franklin L. Downs, Logansport; sons, Shawn D. Downs, Logansport, Shane L. Downs, Walton; her mother-in-law, Roberta L. Burgess, North Augusta, S.C.; a sister, Shirley Embry and husband, Larry, Barbee Lakes, Ind.; grandsons, Skylar O., Severin Z. and Ian X. Downs, all of Logansport; nephews, Jason Embry, Seattle, Wash, and Jeremy Embry, Barbee Lakes, Ind. Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday in Gundrum Funeral Home, with Pastor Bill Collins officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport.

Visitation will be noon until time of services on Thursday.
