Linda Zeider

Linda J. Zeider, 62, of Royal Center, passed away Saturday, October 18, 2014 in Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born April 4, 1952 in Logansport, she was the daughter of John Thomas Gordon Sr. and Deloris Arlene Elpers.  On July 5, 1974 in Delphi she married James R. "Bub" Zeider who survives.

Linda was a homemaker, she had formerly worked at K-Mart and Bonnell's Grocery in Royal Center.  She was the official greeter of Royal Center as she would spend a lot of time on the front porch waving at people as they drove into town. Linda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving along with her husband "Bub", are three daughters, Tricia (Brad) Swartzell; and Krissy Hines, both of Royal Center; Ashley (Brad) Gleitz, Logansport; three grandsons, Chandler Swartzell; Brayden Gleitz; and Hunter Ward; six granddaughters, Kierra Mersch; Haley Gleitz; Courtney Swartzell; Aliah Hines; Mariah Hines; and Makenna Gleitz; mother, Deloris Gordon, Logansport; brother, Jay (Sue) Gordon. Logansport; two sisters, Jann (Mark) Byers. Royal Center; Janine (Brad) Starks, LaPorte, IN.

She was preceded in death by her father, John Thomas Gordon Sr., and brother, Randy Scott Gordon

A celebration of life will be held at 10:30 AM Tuesday, October 21, 2014 in the Gundrum Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Kistler Cemetery, Royal Center.

Visitation will be held 3:00 - 7:00 PM Monday, also in the funeral home.
