Lois E. Berry, age 89, of Kewanna, IN, passed away at her son’s home on Monday April 27, 2020 @ 12:59 AM.
Born August 14, 1930 in Harvey, IL she was the daughter of the late Glenn and June (Kirk) Vogel.
On December 29, 1953 in Plainfield, IN she married Thomas James Berry who preceded in death on January 11, 2009.
Lois retired in 1995 as a Registered Lab Technician. She had worked for the Logansport State Hospital, Winamac Hospital and the Rochester Hospital. Lois was a graduate of the University of TN and took grad courses at Notre Dame University. She was also a former Home Economics teacher at Grass Creek School.
Survivors include two daughters, Ellen (Don) King, Rochester; Kathy (Ron) Green, Kewanna; two sons, Jim (Sharon) Berry, Kewanna; Pat (Tracy) Berry, Kewanna; daughter-in-law, Melanie (Doug) Berry-Hoover, Kewanna; 10-grandchildren, Jeff (Toni) King, Melinda (Rich) Shultz, Jamie (Nick) Taylor, Matt (Amy) Berry, Kellie (Jake) Schmaltz, Brian (Terra) Clemons, Adam (Ashly) Berry, Hali Berry, Chelce (John) Carter, Sidney Berry; 17-great grandchildren, Jessica Taylor, Kirsten Taylor, Hunter Taylor, Rileigh Schmaltz, Emilie Schmaltz, Abigail King, Rowan David Berry, Lynnly Ann Berry, GiGi Berry, Natalie Bailey, Brynlie Berry, Jamison Berry, Madison Shultz, Bailey Shultz, Marlowe Clemons, Beau Clemons and Chase Clemons.
One son, David Berry and one sister, Barbara Eiler, preceded in death.
Per the request of Lois there will be no services.
