Lois E. Weaver, 83, of Idaville, passed away Sunday, July 14, 2013 at 1:45 PM at Miller's Merry Manor in Logansport.
Born June 19, 1930 in Kokomo, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late Elwood Sylvester and Ella Victoria (Harris) Green. On March 27, 1949 in Burnettsville, Indiana she married David J. Weaver who survives.
Lois retired from RCA in Monticello after 13 years of service. She was a 1948 graduate of Burnettsville High School, and attended Caley United Methodist Church in Royal Center. Lois enjoyed crocheting, hummingbirds, camping, and spending time with her family and friends.
Surviving along with her husband are three sons, Michael (Cathy) Weaver, Camden; Richard (Laurie) Weaver, Idaville; Dennis Weaver, Galveston; daughter, Barbara (Brian) Murphy, Logansport; granddaughters, Brianne (Robert) Negrete, Florida; Samantha (Desmon) Heyward, Georgia; Sara(Justin) Clonan, Florida; step grandsons, Michael Berkshire, Burnettsville; David(Sabrina) Berkshire, Monticello; grandson, Brian (Merlina) Weaver, Burnettsville;; granddaughters, Amber Shafer, Burnettsville; Rachael (Andy) Harker, Delphi; Jennifer (Michael) Cody, Kentucky; Amy Burt, Seymour; Adrian Strasser, Logansport; grandson, Troy (Genevieve) Weaver, Texas; several great and great great grandchildren; one brother, Bill (Liz) Green, Monticello.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Don Green.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday, July 18, 2013 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Opal Rieff officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.
Visitation will be held from 4 - 8 PM on Wednesday, also in the Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to the Parkinson's Disease Research.
