Lola Maxine Clem, 89, Logansport, died at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 26, 2010, in Millerâs Merry Manor.
Born March 12, 1921, in Carroll County, she was the daughter of Carl and Addie Tribbett Cree. She was married Dec. 30, 1939, in Logansport, to Frederick Leroy âRoyâ Clem, who preceded in death Dec. 22, 2009.
Lola was a homemaker.
She was a member of the Moose Lodge 232 Ladies Auxiliary and former member of the Logansport Modified Midgets Racing Club.
Surviving are sons, Harold Leroy Clem and wife, R. Jane, Logansport, and Dennis Lee Clem and companion Dany Slough, Harrisburg, N.C.; daughter, Marilyn Kay Baker, Logansport; son-in-law, Richard Smith, Logansport; 10 grandchildren, David Clem and fiancé, Regina Hicks, Heather Hammond and husband, Phillip, Pat Smith, Mendy Benn and husband, David, Brad Smith and wife, Kathi, Tracy Baker, Terry Baker and wife, Ali, Jason Baker and wife, Erika, Shawn Clem and companion, Michelle Boucher, and Jennifer Huff and husband, Jason; 23 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Carol Jane Smith; two sisters, Evaughn Allen and Thelma Dotson; and six brothers, Paul, Ward, Virgil, George A., Evan and Merl Cree.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday in Gundrum Funeral Home with Dr. Horace Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
