Lola L. Friskey, 94, Logansport, died at 8:28 p.m. Sunday, June 17, 2012, at Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Oct. 9, 1917, in Brown County, she was the daughter of Clarence Ault and Zona Sturgeon. She was married in 1935 in Nashville to George A. Friskey, who preceded in death in 1953.
She was retired from Logansport State Hospital as an attendant.
Surviving are son, Bill Friskey and wife, Betty, Logansport; daughters, Betty Preston, Redington Beach, Fla., and Lois Burgess and Dee Coppernoll, both of Logansport; sisters, Doris Michaels and husband, Kenny, Nashville, and Dora A. Morgan, Logansport; grandchildren, Jerry Lambert, Rick Lambert, Gail Reynolds, Bob Burgess, Mick Burgess, David Burgess, Kathy Callioni, William Friskey, Matthew Friskey, Sheila Galbreath, Danny Joe Elliott and Jason Elliott; and several great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Joyce Elliott; one grandson, John âBoonerâ Burgess Jr.; two sisters; and three brothers.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at Gundrum Funeral Home with the Rev. William Art Maloney & Dr. Horace Smith officiating Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the donorâs favorite charity.
