Lonnie Vandyne

Lonnie E. VanDyne, 56, of Logansport, passed away Thursday, October 31, 2013 at 2:58 PM in his residence.

Born on May 28, 1957, he was the son of Ronald and Shirley (Elston) VanDyne. On August 2, 1989 in Logansport, he married Connie Popejoy who survives.

Lonnie worked for Kauffman manufacturing, and was a United States Navy Veteran.

Surviving along with his wife and parents are two sons, Timothy (Marsha) Bullock, Logansport; Jeremy Pion, Fort Wayne; three daughters, Esther Bullock, Monticello; Jennifer VanDyne and Fiance Alex Donathen, Logansport; and Stephaine May, Fort Wayne; two brothers, Ricky (Teresa) VanDyne, Angola, IN; Randy (Deb) VanDyne, Salem Center, IN; four granddaughters, and two grandsons.

A celebration of life service will be held at 4:00 pm Tuesday, November 5, 2013 at the Helm Street Church of God in Logansport, with Pastor Dean Snyder officiating. Full military rites will be performed by the Cass County Veterans Council just prior to services.

Visitation will be from 3:00 pm until time of services.

Cremation has been entrusted to the Gundrum Funeral Home and Cass County Crematory.
