Louis Zech

Louis “Rudy” Zech, 79 of Logansport passed away Sunday, January 20, 2013 at his residence.

Born on March 2, 1933 he was the son of the late Louis and Anna Dallman Zech. On October 19, 1956 in Logansport he married Tressa “Sharon” Williamson who survives.

Rudy retired from Federal Mogul. He was a United States Army Veteran serving in Korea. Rudy enjoyed taking care of animals, fishing, gardening, hunting, and being outdoors.

Surviving with his wife are two sons, Dale Zech, Logansport, and Mark (Fran) Zech, Washougal, WA; one daughter, Lisa (Kenny) Wheeldon, Burnettsville; four grandchildren, Brett (Brianna) Zech, Washougal, WA; Brandon Zech, Oklahoma City, OK; Kendra Wheeldon, Burnettsville; April Wheeldon, Burnettsville; one great grandson, Travis Zech, Washougal, WA; one sister, Annette (Don) Williamson, Logansport.
He was preceded in death by 1 brother, Phillip Zech.

Services with full military rites will be held at 7:00 PM on Friday in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Rev. Adam Speicher officiating.

Visitation will be held from 3:00-7:00 PM Friday in the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the Cass County Humane Society.
