Lucille M. Davis, 74, Camden, died 10:45 p.m. Sunday, June 8, 2008, at her residence. She was born May 1, 1934, in White County to Charles Edward Timmons and Iva Myrtle James. On June 3, 1951, in Logansport, she married James W. Davis Jr.
She was a homemaker and former Avon sales lady. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Lucille enjoyed flowers, being a homemaker and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchild.
She is survived by her husband, James W. Davis Jr.,Camden; sons, Jeffery Davis, Camden, Mark Davis and wife Melanie, Walton, and Brad Davis and partner Jon Snider, Peru; seven grandchildren, Janelle Keele and husband Greg, Lebanon, Phillip Davis, Indianapolis, Cavan Davis, Walton, Billy Davis, Walton, Andrew Davis, Peru, Elizabeth Davis, Peru, Elizabeth Davis, Peru, and Alex Davis, Peru; and great-grandchild, Dalton James Keele, Lebanon.
She was preceded in death by four sisters and three brothers.
Services are 10 a.m. Thursday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Tim Berlin officiating. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Deer Creek. Friends may call 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home
