Services for Lysle Junior Graves, 72, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, 2008, in his daughterâs residence near Onward.
Born May 15, 1935, in Walton, he was the son of James and Evelyn Small Graves. He was married May 9, 1954, in Logansport, to Carolyn C. Copeland, who preceded in death March 26, 2008.
He retired in 1992 as an attendant at the Logansport State Hospital after 40 years of service.
Lysle enjoyed fishing, gardening, crossword puzzles and spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Surviving are daughters, Donna Taylor and husband, Donald, Walton, and Anita Cain and husband, Eric, Logansport; brother, Terrell Graves, Worthington; six grandchildren, Heather, Jessica, Joshua Holley, Tabitha Laffin, Caleb and Shaylen Cain; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by one daughter, Linda Jo Graves, one brother, Eldon Graves, and one great-grandchild, Christopher Holley.
The Rev. Jerry Moore will officiate. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
