Mabel Ethel (Minglin) Mack, 95, Logansport, passed away at 2:30 a.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at McKinney House, Logansport.
Born May 11, 1914, in Tippecanoe County, Ind., she was the daughter of Luther J. Minglin and Ethel Cloe Small. On June 14, 1947, in South Bend, Ind., she married Delmar J. Mack, who preceded in death April 20, 1992.
Mabel was a retired secretary and also worked for the Indiana Weather Bureau at the South Bend Airport.
Mabel attended the River of Life Christian Church. She was a member of the Miami Baptist Church, Elkâs Ladies Auxiliary and the Senior Citizens group in Madeira Beach, Fla.
Survivors include step-daughter, Joscelyn Byrne and husband Richard, St. Lucie, Fla.; sister-in-law, Margaret (Peg) Minglin, New Waverly; nephew, John R. Minglin and wife Bonnie, Logansport; niece, Carolyn Neiswender and husband Curtis, South Bend; 10 step-grandchildren; and several step-great-grandchildren.
She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Pearl Chamberlin and Mary Elizabeth Minglin, and a brother, John A. Minglin.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Gundrum Funeral Home. Pastor W. Frank Hibbard will officiate.
Burial will be in Miami Baptist Cemetery, Logansport.
Friends may call from 1 p.m. until time of services on Tuesday.
