Mable Jean Kile, age 95, of Logansport, passed away Sunday September 22, 2024, at 11:20 pm in her residence.
Born on August 18, 1929, in Lewisburg, IN to the late Manuel and Catherine (Stewer) Baker. On December 15, 1950, in Fort Wayne, IN she married Leo Harry Kile who preceded in death on June 25, 2000.
Survivors include three daughters, Mary (Darrell) Wright, Denver, IN; Cindy (David) Stone, Logansport, IN; Shirley (Jim) Parameter, Logansport, IN; one brother, Frederick Baker, Houston, Texas; one sister, Fern Wilson, Logansport, IN; seven grandchildren, David Stone, Michelle (Kenneth) Rhode, Phillip (Sara) Wright, Emily Wright, Abbie (Austin) Morgan, Michael (Megan) Harrison, and James (Heather) Harrison; nine great grandchildren; Rachelle (Dillion) Wyatt, Rebecca Stone, Patrick Stone, Dakota (Dominic) Martin, Kylie Harrison, Alexia Harrison, Kaladin Wright, Arya Wright and Kennedy Harrison ; 1 great great grandchild, Evelyn Martin ; and several nieces and nephews.
Mable was also preceded in death by one daughter, Jeanne Goodridge, two sisters, Dorothy Wilson and Gladys Friskey
A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 pm Wednesday September 25, 2024, in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Bill McSpadden officiating. A burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.
A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until the time of services on Wednesday.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Guardian Angel Hospice, Dr. Vivek Sahgal and Dr. Cherrie Bennett for the extended care Mable received during her illness.
