Maddie Cox

Maddie Cox, 83, of Logansport, passed away Friday, June 24, 2022, at Woodbridge Health Campus in Logansport.

Born on August 1, 1938, in Midland, Pennsylvania, Maddie is the daughter to the late Matt Worlyn and Pearl (Hollenback) Orbin.  On November 22, 1958, in Jackson, North Carolina, she married Bill J. Cox who survives.

Maddie is a member of All Saints Catholic Church and a 50-year member of Beta Sigma Phi. She also served in the Marine Corps from 1956 -1958.

Surviving along with her husband Bill, are two sons, B.J. (Esmeralda) Cox of Logansport; Michael (Carolyn) Cox of Logansport; six grandchildren, Lauren (Patrick) Sullivan of El Paso, TX; Kristen Cox of Logansport; Megan Cox of Chicago; Sarah Cox of Indianapolis; Jordan Cox of Dublin, OH; Jacob Cox of Logansport; great grandchildren, Leo Sullivan and Rory Sullivan; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by five brothers, John Orbin, Jacob Orbin Sr., Joseph Orbin, George Orbin Sr. and James Orbin, and two sisters, Mary Anne Beam and Bernadette Rubottom.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at All Saints Catholic Church.

A visitation will be held from 4 – 7 pm Monday, June 27, 2022, in the Gundrum Funeral Home.
