Services for Margaret E. Meyer, 82, Logansport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. James Lutheran Church with the Rev. Marvin Hinkle officiating.
She died at 11 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27, 2006, in her residence.
Born Sept. 21, 1923, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Ernest and Anna Meyer Watts. On Feb. 10, 1952, she was married in Logansport to Walter F. Meyer, who survives.
She had been retired since 1982 when she had been a bookkeeper for the Girl Scouts. She also had worked 10 years for Logan Machine Co.
As a St. James Lutheran member, she sang in the choir and was a member of the Mary Martha Guild and a Sunday school teacher. She was a former member of the Sew & So Club and the Home & Hobby Extension Homemakers Club.
Also surviving are two daughters and one son-in-law, Ann Meyer, Raleigh, N.C., and Mary and Tim Donovan, Tampa, Fla.; two sons and daughters-in-law, Stephen and Susan Meyer, Mentor, Ohio, and John and Carla Meyer, Naples, Fla.; four grandsons, Patrick Meyer, and his wife, Kimberly, Berea, Ohio, Jeffery Meyer, Mentor, Ohio, Brian Meyer, Tucson, Ariz., and Shelby Meyer, Naples, Fla.; and six granddaughters, Lauren Meyer, Mentor, Ohio, Maddie Meyer, Naples, Fla., and Pamela, Jennifer and Rebecca Donovan, Tampa, Fla.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour prior to the services Tuesday at the church. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
