Margaret Platt

Margaret I. Platt, 91, Logansport, formerly of Kokomo, died 1:45 p.m. Thursday, Oct.
15, 2009, at McKinney House, Logansport. She was born July 17, 1918, in Cass County, the daughter of Dale Beck and Muriel (Gish).
On April 10, 1941, in Young America, she married Joseph M. Platt, who preceded in death April 3, 1982.
She was a homemaker.
Surviving are sons, David Platt and wife, Beverly, Westfield, and Michael Platt and wife, Susan, Logansport; a daughtrer, Debbie TenBrook and husband, David, Tampa, Fla.; a brother, Max Beck, Young America; a daughter-in-law, Becky Platt, West Chester, Ohio; six grandchildren, Eric Platt and wife, Suzanne, Pittsburg, Pa., Jody Smith and husband, Dustin, Auburn Hills, Mich., Hillery Schulz and husband, Lee, Zionsville, Maggie Platt, Zionsville, Natalie Platt, Logansport, Nathaniel TenBrook, Tampa, Fla.; two great-grandchildren, Jeremy and Carlie Platt, Pittsburg, Pa.
She was preceded in death by a son, Joseph M. Platt II; a daughter, Janes Ann Platt; two sisters, Bonnie Jones and Roseann Goff; two brothers, Dean Beck and Don Beck.
Services are 2 p.m. Sunday at Center United Methodist Church, near Young America.
The Rev. John Newman will officiate. Burial will be in Center Cemetery, Young America. Friends may call one hour prior to services Sunday at the church.
