Margaret E. Reagan-Strasser-Flowers, 96, Burnettsville, died at 10:45 p.m. Monday, June 25, 2012, at Miller’s Merry Manor.

Born July 10, 1915, in Lexington, Ky., she was the daughter of John Reagan and Bessie Mae Boughner. Her first marriage was in 1934 to Thomas R. Strasser, who preceded in death in 1976. Her second marriage was on Aug. 13, 1983, in Anoka, to Raymond Flowers who preceded in death in 1986.

She was a homemaker.

Margaret was a member of Burnettsville Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed gardening, crafts and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are sons, Thomas R. Strasser Jr. and wife, Myra, Burnettsville, and Don Strasser and wife, Sharon, Logansport; daughter-in-law, Marjorie Strasser, West Lafayette; grandchildren, Jeffrey Strasser, Lafayette, Greg Strasser, Monticello, Michelle Pendleton, West Lafayette, Melanie Marion and husband, Dale, Belvidere, Ill., Matthew Strasser and wife, Tina, Paoli, Randy Strasser and wife, Denise, Delphi, Brenda Moore, Lafayette, Tim Strasser and wife, Kathy, Camden, Sue Condon, Delphi, Rob Strasser and wife, Robin, West Lafayette, Marty Strasser and wife, Jane, Lafayette, and Jodi Rhoades, Delphi; several great-grandchildren; and several great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Richard Strasser; one daughter, Judy Blume; 12 brothers and sisters; one son-in-law, Bob Blume; one daughter-in-law, Shirley Strasser; two grandchildren, Annie Blume and Marva Strasser; and one great-grandson, Paul Pendleton.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Rife officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
