Margaret Williams

Graveside services for Margaret "Marge" Williams, 89, Logansport, will be at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 2, 2008, at Hopewell Cemetery in Deer Creek.

She died at 1:46 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, in Miller’s Merry Manor.

She was born March 3, 1919, in Charleston, W.V., the daughter of Herman and Viola Wise Profitt. She was married May 16, 1952, in Burlington, Ind., to Kenneth W. Williams, who preceded in death Jan. 16, 1996.

She retired in 1974 as manager of Baker’s Restaurant after 26 years of employment. She was a member of Calvary Presbyterian Church and the Prime Time Senior Citizens Bowling League

Survivors include daughters, Carolyn McDowell, Donalsonville, Ga., Louise Holcomb, Logansport, and Fredonna Fausett, Lafayette; brother, Huie Profitt, Cincinnati, Ohio; sisters, Ila Goodpastur, Mount Sterling, Ky., Ruby Barido, Florida, and Betty Emmert, Middletown, Ohio; 12 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

One Son, Eugene Baker, One granddaughter and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.

Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery, Deer Creek. There will be no visitation.

Memorials may be made to the Calvary Presbyterian Church.

Gundrum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
