Services for Marilyn Cover, 69, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She passed away at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2008, in Logansport Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 12, 1939, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Gilbert Roman Calloway and Freda I. Basham. She was married Sept. 18, 1964, in Dayton, Ohio, to John C. Cover, who survives.
Marilyn was the former owner and operator of Cover Realty. She has also worked with Remax, Adair Reality, Century 21 and Terra Realty.
She was a member of the former Altrusa Club and since 1978 and was a member of Cass County Realtors Association. She was a life-long member of the former Third Street United Methodist Church, serving as secretary in the office, choir member, Sunday school teacher and former president of the United Methodist Women. Marilyn was a 1956 graduate of Patterson Cooperative High School in Dayton, Ohio. She loved to work crossword, Bent & Wiggly and Sudoku puzzles. Marilyn was also a former Brownie Leader and football mom while living in Dayton, Ohio. She was a member of Cross-Wind United Methodist Church.
She enjoyed many travels throughout America and abroad.
Also surviving are son, John S. Cover and wife, Christina, Logansport; daughter, Debra Kay Tarter, Paxton, Ill.; granddaughter, Sage Briana Tarter, Paxton, Ill.; and grandson, Kegan Mitchell Clark-Sanchez, Logansport.
She was preceded in death by one son, Pfc. Brian C. Loxley.
Pastor Gary Lewis will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
