Marilyn Ellen LaMere, 75, of Logansport passed away Thursday, September 26, 2013 at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.

Born November 8, 1937 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late Earl Murray Sr. and Minnie Marie Pippin. On August 5, 1961 in Logansport, she married Lawrence C. LaMere who preceded in death on September 29, 2008.

Marilyn was a produce manager for the government.

She was a 1955 graduate of Logansport High School, and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star. Marilyn enjoyed reading, genealogy, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Surviving are two daughters, Colleen (Keith) Adams, Logansport; Daphne (Brian) Holland, Brookville, IN; five grandchildren, Thane Adams, Shelby Adams, Alexandria Holland, Brayden Adams, and Kendrick Holland; sister, Rosemary (Rex) Kantzer, Logansport.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl Edward Murray Jr., and James Murray.

A funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, September 28, 2013 in the Gundrum Funeral Home, with Pastor Sharon Walker officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

An Eastern Star service will precede the funeral.
