Marilyn Melroy

Marilyn F. Melroy , age 82, of Logansport, Indiana, died at 5:10 am Saturday, August 8, 2015 in Memorial Hospital, Logansport, IN.

Born August 10, 1932 in Middletown, OH, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bunah (Rogers) Spencer. On  October 6, 1951 in Stanton, KY, she married Donald Melroy who preceded in death October of 1968.

Marilyn was a Homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, scratching lottery tickets and spending time with her sister, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Survivors also include two daughters, Debra Casady of Logansport; Robin (Stan) Watson of Logansport; son, Donald Melroy and companion Debra Smith of Logansport; two sisters, Shirley Pickens, Lucerne; Charlene (John) Turner, Logansport; two sister-in-laws, Jane Spencer of Cincinnati, OH; Edna Spencer , Logansport; two grandchildren, Angel Melroy, Logansport; Lisa (Chris) James, Logansport; several great grandchildren; several great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews

Marilyn was preceded in death one grandson, Jamie Melroy; one sister, Gloria Austin and two brothers, Dixon and Bob Spencer.

A private memorial service will be held for the family at the Gundrum Funeral Home.
