Marilyn Ann Moore, 87, of Clymers, passed away Sunday, November 8, 2015 at Logansport Memorial Hospital.

Born on January 26, 1928 in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late George J. and Kathryn "Katie" M. (Leffert) Bubel.  On Christmas Eve, December 24, 1949 in Logansport, she married Robert J. “Bob” Moore who preceded in death on March 14, 2007.

Marilyn grew up on Burlington Ave. and has lived in the Clymers area since 1949. She retired in 1990 after 27 years of service with the Logansport State Hospital as a switchboard operator and receptionist.  Marilyn was raised a Catholic and attended St. Joseph School. She graduated from Logansport High School in 1946. After her marriage she became a member of the Methodist Faith. As a member of First United Methodist Church she taught Sunday school, coordinated MYF youth group in the late 1960's and 70's. She was also an active member of the "Kum Join Us Class" in the church and the New Life Guild. Marilyn was a member of the Clinton TWP home extension club and a former member of the Beta Sigma Phi Sorority.

Surviving are two sons, James R. Moore, Clymers; Thomas R. (Vicki) Moore; granddaughter, Angela (Jeremiah) Bruns; great grandson, Cameron Michael Bruns, all of Carmi, IL; several nieces, nephews and a few Leffert cousins.

One sister, Janet Bieghler, preceded in death.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am Friday, November 13, 2015 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Don Cline officiating. Burial will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home from 3 – 7 pm on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015

Memorial donation may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Logansport.
