Services for Marjorie J. Peterson, 83, Logansport, will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 1:50 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24, 2008, in her residence.
Born May 6, 1925, in Sheldon, Ill., she was the daughter of Fred R. and Sarah Helen Houston Lewellen. She was married June 11, 1943, in Logansport, to Walter F. Peterson, who preceded in death May 2, 1998.
Marjorie retired from Switches Inc., and she also had worked at the RBM.
She was a member of All Saints Catholic Church, and VFW Post 3790 Ladies Auxiliary.
Marjorie enjoyed quilting, crocheting, flower gardening and spending time with her family.
Surviving are daughters, Linda Isaacs and husband, Gene, Logansport, and Patricia Bowman, Kokomo; son, Fred Peterson, Royal Center, and his special friend, Nora Woodhouse; grandchildren, Danielle Isaacs-Johnson and husband, Tony, Logansport, Rod Lynch and wife, Michelle, Rockfield, Shawn Graf and wife, Jennifer, Indianapolis, Carmin Peterson and Bill Bauman, Logansport, Ashley Bauer and husband, Dan, West Lafayette, Brooke Bowman, Kokomo, and Lindsay Peterson, Wabash; and nine great-grandchildren, Kitrina Ohman, Trevor A. Lynch, Ethan Henderson, Joel Henderson, Kenny Henderson, Addison Bauer, Keagan Peterson, Jordan Graf and Peyton Graf.
She was preceded in death by one daughter, Virginia âGinnyâ Hankee, and one brother, Fred Robert Lewellen.
The Rev. Mr. Juan Rodriguez will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
