Mark W. Spencer, 53, of Royal Center, IN, passed away Sunday March 25, 2018 in his residence.
Born October 9, 1964 in Logansport, Mark was the son of Robert and Geraldine (Ashlock) Spencer.
On September 15, 1990 in Logansport he married Lisa Hall who survives.
Mark graduated from Caston High School in 1983. He went on to work for Acument Global Technologies in Rochester for 30 years as a group leader. He was a member of the Church of the Heartland, loved farming, the outdoors and especially enjoyed and looked forward to his yearly trip to his dads to go fishing.
Surviving along with his wife Lisa is his father, Robert (Paulette) Spencer, Tell City, IN; one sister, Patty (Jeff) Moore, Logansport; two brothers, Brian (Brandi) Spencer, New Albany, IN; Fr. Brian Esarey, Leopold, IN; one brother-in-law, Mike Hall, Logansport; one sister-in-law, Shelly Hall, Logansport; and several nieces and nephews.
Mark was preceded in death by his mother, one brother, Jimmy Stonecipher, and brother-in-law, Patrick Hall.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am Friday March 30, 2018 in the Church of the Heartland 101 North Cicott Street, Logansport, IN 46947 with Pastor Clifton Ashlock and Pastor Jim Howard Officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park, Logansport, IN.
Visitation will be held on Thursday March 29, 2018 from 4:00pm until 7:00pm in Gundrum Funeral Home.
Mark wanted to extend a special thank you to Don (Marilyn) St. Clair family and the Bob (Linda) Dillman family for the many years of allowing him to farm. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Shelly Hall and Paulette Spencer for all their love and support.
Memorials may be made to the Church of the Heartland or the American Cancer Society.
