Martha Hosier

Martha Louise Hosier, age 95, of Cape Coral, FL passed away Monday April 25, 2022.

Martha was born May 11, 1926, in Logansport, IN to the late Delbert Lawn and Bertha Louise (Schaen) Baker. On April 20, 1947, she married Glen R. Hosier who preceded her in death April 26, 1971.

Martha was a registered nurse working for hospitals, industry, private duty and schools. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Logansport.

Survivors include two daughters, Kay (Keith) Schardein, Arizona; Barbara Morrill, Florida; one son, David Hosier, Missouri; two sisters, Marolyn Gale, Logansport; Maxine Gale, Indianapolis; six grandchildren, Kristen Fox, Adam Schardein, Michael Morrill, Amber Sillas, Glen Hosier and Nicole Hosier; ten great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one sister, Mary Burdge and one brother, Herbert Baker.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00 pm on Tuesday May 3, 2022, in the Gundrum Funeral Home in Logansport, with Pastor Carolyn DeWitt officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Hope Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 pm until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
