Martin Zimmerman

Martin R. Zimmerman, 90, of Logansport, passed away at 2:50PM on May 11, 2014 in Millers Merry Manor, Logansport.

Born May 24, 1923 in Cass County, IN, he was the son to the late Walter and Bell (Berkshire) Zimmerman.

Martin was married on May 9, 1948 in Logansport, IN to Hazel L. Hults who survives.

He retired from General Tire Company and was also a farmer. Martin was a member of Blue Ball Church and a World War II Army Veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Hazel L. Zimmerman, Logansport, IN; Daughter, Diana (Ronald) Farb, Savannah, GA; Sister, Ruth Rohrabaugh, Royal Center, IN; and Son-in-Law, Pat (Joanie) Moody, Fort Wayne, IN.

Preceding him in death is one daughter, Marsha Zimmerman Moody.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30PM, Wednesday, May 14, 2014 at Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Hayes Officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Logansport, IN with Full Military Graveside Rites.

Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
