Mary Ann Bowman

Mary Ann Bowman, 94, of New Waverly, passed away Monday, July 24, 2023, at McKinney Place in Logansport.

Born on April 4, 1929, in Knoxville, TN, Mary Ann is the daughter of the late John and Ada (Metalbarger) Clapp.  On October 19, 1952, in Waldron, IN Mary Ann married Herbert D. Bowman who survives.

Mary ann was a graduate of Waldron High School and a retired bookkeeper for JC Penney.

Surviving along with her husband Herbert, is a daughter, Susan E. Reynolds of New Waverly; granddaughter, Chelsea (Joshua) Cates of Logansport; Jared (Lendzi) Wiseley of New Waverly; Jackson (Angela Miller) Wiseley of Logansport; eight great grandchildren, Alexis Gotshall, Sophia Cates, Sailor Cates, Harper Wiseley, Hadlee Wiseley, Hayleigh Wiseley, Beau Wiseley and Cash Wiseley; several nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann was preceded in death by a son Herbert M. Bowman; grandson, Joel M. Bowman, son-in-law, Rick Reynolds and 13 siblings.

A celebration of life will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, July 29, 2023, at Gundrum Funeral Home with Jared Wiseley officiating. Burial will follow at Ever-Rest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until the time of service on Saturday.
