Mary Brown-Mcaninch

Mary Ruth Brown-McAninch, 89, of Logansport, passed away Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at her residence.

Born July 22, 1923 in Albany, Kentucky to the late Joe G. and Bina (Gibson) Brown. In 1940 she married Fred Brown who preceded her in death.

Mary was a homemaker. She enjoyed gardening , baking and quilting.

Surviving are four daughters, Linda (Frank) Callaway; Karen (Russ) Menzie; Marcia Gallagher; Connie (Wayne) Heishman, all of Logansport; grandson, Steve (Julie) Callaway; granddaughter, Suzy (John) Gibson, grandsons, Kevin (Bobbi) Callawayl; Chris (Sami) Callaway, all of Logansport; Jim (Debbie) Gallagher, Demotte, IN; Larry Payne, Logansport; granddaughters, Lori (Bill) Rhodes; Tracy Payne, both of Logansport; and Jenny (Andy) Pack, Monticello; several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one grandson, Jeff Gallagher, two brothers, and one sister.

A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 5, 2013 at 1:30 PM in the Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory, with pastor Andy Weil officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.

Visitation will be held from 11:30 am until the time of service on Friday.
