Mary B. Bolinger Cripe, 74, Logansport, died at 2:15 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 14, 2010, in Seton Hospital, Lafayette.
Born Aug. 20, 1936, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Paul A. and Grace Carrier Viney. Her first marriage was on Dec. 6, 1952, in Burnettsville, where she married Abraham L. âTomâ Bolinger, who preceded in death Aug. 26, 1987. Her second marriage was on May 3, 1993, in Logansport, to Ralph R. Cripe, who survives.
Mary retired in 1998 from Federal Mogul.
She was a member of Lake Cicott United Methodist Church, VFW Post 3790 Ladies Auxiliary and American Legion Post 60 Ladies Auxiliary.
Surviving are her husband, Ralph R. Cripe, Logansport; daughters, Terri Overpeck and husband Richard, Royal Center, and Toby Mitchell and husband Jerry, Kokomo; sons, Tim Bolinger and wife Charlene, Logansport, and Tony Bolinger and wife Rebecca, Greentown; stepsons, Mike Cripe and wife Debra, and Greg Cripe and wife Marcia, all of Logansport; stepdaughter, Pamela Bowman and husband Greg, Burlington; brother, Richard Viney, Camden, S.C.; sisters, Sue Kaufman and Patricia Crispen, both of Logansport; 17 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Gundrum Funeral Home with Dr. Horace Smith officiating.
Burial will be in Davis Cemetery, Burnettsville.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
