— Mary Louise Johnson, 94, 2626 George St., Logansport, formerly of Clymers, died at 2:34 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.

Born April 7, 1917, in Nelsonville, Ohio, she was the daughter of Charles W. Parmeter and Lena G. Johnson, who preceded in death. She was married on June 25, 1936, in Logansport, to Virgil H. Johnson, who passed away on Oct. 11, 1991.

A homemaker, Louise enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

She formerly attended the Blue Ball Christian Church in Walton. She was a member of the Clymers United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two daughters, Elizabeth Ann Robinson, Logansport, and Karen Sue and husband, Keith Julian, Akron, formerly of Clymers; one son, Larry Joe “Buck” Johnson (Clymers) Logansport; one niece, Beverly Hall, Logansport; two nephews, Gene K. Alber, San Antonio, Texas, and Wesley Parmeter, Logansport; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Garnet L. Parmeter and Ethel Alber; and one brother, Donald “Peck” Parmeter.

Services are 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport. Pastor Adam Speicher will officiate. Burial will be in Clymers Cemetery Logansport. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
