Mary Karns

Mary L. Karns, 82, Logansport, passed away at 6:45 p.m. on
Saturday, April 14, 2012, at Chase Center in Logansport.

She was born May 8, 1929, in Russiaville, to Robert and Gladys (Anaker)Caine. On July 30, 1948, in Noblesville, she married Herbert O. Karns, who preceded her in death on Dec. 9, 2000.

Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed traveling and spending time
with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors are her daughters, Marianne Berkshire and husband
Steve, Camden, Linda Snoeberger and husband Robert, Buffalo,
Shirley Wright and husband Roderick, Finley, Ohio, and Carol E. Foster, Logansport; son, Jack Karns and wife Valinda, Logansport;brother, Gary Caine, Kokomo; sister, Alice Turner, Kokomo; 20 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren

Funeral services are 1 p.m. Tuesday at Gundrum Funeral Home,
Logansport, with Pastor Aaron Gross officiating. Burial will be in Davis Cemetery in Burnettsville.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service Tuesday.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude
Hospital or American Diabetes Association.
