Mary Moss

Mary J. Moss, 91 of Logansport passed away Monday, January 28, 2013 at 6:15 AM in Millers Merry Manor in Logansport.

Born August 30, 1921 in Carroll County, she was the daughter of the late John and Maude Ritchey Oaks. On December 20, 1975 in Logansport, she married Rodney L. Moss Jr. who survives.

Mary retired in 1983 from General Tire Company after 32 years of service.

Surviving with her husband are two daughters, Mary K. (Charles) Barger, Logansport; and Joyce (Paul) Scott, Burnettsville; two step sons, Tim (Misty) Moss, and Tom (Nancy) Moss, both of Logansport; two step daughters, Donna Jackson, Sebring, FL; and Debbie (Jeff) Schelling, Cleveland, OH; daughter in law, Delores Morgan, Monticello; Sister in law, Janice Oaks, Homes Beach, FL; Brother, John Oaks, Linden, Utah, Sister, Mildred Conrad of Logansport. Sixteen grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and some great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by five brothers, one sister, and one son, Larry morgan.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM on Wednesday, January 30, 2013 in the Gundrum Funeral Home with Paul Scott officiating. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park in Logansport.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 7:00PM Tuesday, January 29, 2013 also in the Funeral Home.

Memorials may be made to the Burnettsville First Baptist Church.
