Mary Rodriguez

Mary M. Rodriguez, 50, of Logansport passed away Friday, November 29, 2013 at Seaton Specialty Hospital in Lafayette.

Born on October 8, 1963,in Logansport, she was the daughter of Richard Ricks and Margaret (Sturdivant) Farrell. On December 6, 1987 in Logansport, she married Hipolito Rodriguez who survives.

Mary worked as a cashier at Publix Supermarket and Wal-Mart.

She was a 1982 graduate of Carroll High School. Mary loved to read romance novels, collect angels, and spend time with her grandchildren.

Surviving along with her husband is one son, Christopher Rodriguez; Daughter, Jennifer Rodriguez; two grandsons, Damion and Perry Rodriguez, all of Tampa, FL; father, Richard Ricks; brother, Rick (Les) Ricks, both of Logansport; brothers, Jeff (Mayling) Ricks, Penbrook Pines, FL; Ron Ricks, Ft. Lauderdale, FL; sister, Melissa Rodriguez, Logansport; several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Farrell; father in law, Ambrosio Rodriguez; and mother in law, Hipolita Rodriguez.

A private family gathering will be held at a later date

Arrangements and cremation have been entrusted with the Gundrum Funeral Home and Crematory.
