Services for Mary S. Shaw, 93, Porter, formerly of Logansport, will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
She died at 11:12 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, in Horton Hospice Center, Valparaiso.
Born March 20, 1916, in Cass County, she was the daughter of Arthur E. and Harriet English Troutman. She was married April 7, 1940, in Logansport, to Charles L. Shaw, who preceded in death May 3, 1986.
She was a homemaker and a member of Spring Creek Christian Church.
Surviving are daughter, Carol L. Baer and husband, Bradley, Porter; daughter-in-law, Joan Shaw, Logansport; brother, Harold Troutman and wife, Clara, Logansport; sister, Grace M. Jordan, Logansport; three grandchildren, Michael L. Shaw, David L. Shaw and Lisa M. Stroud; three stepgrandchildren, Terri Cox, Michael Rorison and Jessica Conlon; several great-grandchildren; several stepgreat-grandchildren; and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one son, Donald L. Shaw, and one brother, George E. Troutman.
The Rev. Douglas J. Upton will officiate. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.
