Mary Withrow

Services for Mary S. Withrow, 89, Logansport, will be 12:30 p.m. Monday in Gundrum Funeral Home.

She died at 7:40 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, in Woodbridge Health Campus, Logansport.

Born Feb. 17, 1920, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Clarence “Dutch” Steinman and Suzie Money.

A graduate of Logansport High School, Mary was a legal secretary for attorneys Don O’Neill and Tom Hirschauer. She was a charter member of Logansport Rose Society, Home Economics Club and Business and Professional Women. Mary enjoyed doing crafts, gardening and especially loved her dogs.

Survivors include her son, Richard Withrow and wife, Linda, Monticello; grandson, Matthew Withrow, Frankfort; granddaughter, Susan Henrikson and Husband Brett, Lafayette; great grandson, Trevor Walters, Lafayette; and great-granddaughters, Katie Walters, and Sophie Henrikson, both of Lafayette.

She was preceded in death by one son, Bill Withrow; one grandson; and three great-grandchildren.

The Rev. Douglas Upton will officiate. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Logansport.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.
