Services for Matthew Warpenburg, 26, of Logansport, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Gundrum Funeral Home.
He died at 7:42 p.m. Sunday, June 11, 2006, in Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne.
Born Oct. 14, 1979, in Logansport, he was the son of David E. and Cathy Moss Warpenburg.
He was employed by Hartz Mountain and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Surviving are his parents, Logansport; one brother, Mark A. Warpenburg, Logansport; grandfather, Fred C. Moss, Logansport; grandmother, Connie McFarland and her husband, Norman, Logansport; great-grandmother, Ruth Macklen, Logansport; aunt, Shirley Shultz and her husband, Dick, Logansport; two uncles, Fred Chas. Moss and his wife, Marlene, Hamilton, Ohio, and Charles Warpenburg and his wife, Sandy, Twelve Mile; great-aunt, Shirley Pittman, Baton Rouge, La.; two great-uncles, Bob Macklen, Indianapolis, and Dick Black, San Francisco, Calif.; and several cousins.
One uncle, Mike Warpenburg, maternal grandmother, Marilane Moss, and paternal grandfather, Charles Warpenburg, preceded in death.
The Rev. Gary Lewis will officiate at the services. Burial will be in Mount Hope Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
