Maury Frushour went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 21, 2014, with his family by his side in Doctors Hospital of Sarasota, FL, after 90 healthy and happy years.

Born March 30, 1924 in Cass County he was the son of the late Stuart W. and Fern (Shroyer) Frushour. Maury's  first marriage was to Eileen Champ who preceded him in death in 1989, after forty three years of marriage. On January 23, 1990 he married Roberta (Rudd) Shepherd who survives.

Maury was a retired Millwright for Delco Electronics and was also a former farmer.  His family was very important to Maury and he would often talk of his grandchildren and great grandchildren.  Maury was happy to have gained additional family with his second marriage.

Survivors including his wife are two daughters, Pat (Milt) Rodgers, Burlington, IN; Suzy (Greg) Warnock, Converse, IN; two sons, Don (Bev) Frushour, Camden, IN; Dave (Peg) Frushour, Ottumwa, Iowa; two step sons, Jim (Melanie) Shepherd, Walton, IN; Scott (Anita) Shepherd, Avilla, IN; one sister, Charlotte Frushour Leonard; nine grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren and eleven step great grandchildren, who were all very special to him.

Two sisters, Martha Frushour Walker, Mary Frushour Degler, four brothers, Stu, George, Jim and Wilbur Frushour, and one daughter-in-law, Bonnie Frushour, preceded him in death.

A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in the Bethlehem Presbyterian Church with Rev. Dave Smith officiating, assisted by Rodney Rudd. Burial will be in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.

A visitation will be held from 4 - 8 pm Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in the Gundrum Funeral Home and one hour prior to services at the church on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Presbyterian Church or Riley Children's Hospital
