Mildred Lamb

Mildred O. Lamb, 98, of Logansport, passed away on March 20, 2018 at Woodbridge Health Campus, Logansport.

Born November 10, 1919 in Cass County Indiana, she was the daughter to the late William H. and Maude I. (Peter) Gangloff.

On January 7, 1940 in Washington Township Mildred married Glen E. Lamb who preceded in death February 7, 1986.

Mildred retired from Logansport School Systems in 1980 where she was a cafeteria worker. She was a faithful member of Faith Lutheran Church. Mildred loved cooking, flowers, traveling, Fountain Park, quilting, sewing, playing cards, reading her bible, reading the Funnies Family Circus and the Lockhorns. She especially loved spending time with her family. The family would like to acknowledge special friends Joan Doran, Maurine Falwell and the Woodbridge activities crew.

Surviving are two daughters, Jill Mayfield, Logansport; June Cole, Wyoming, MI; two sons, Richard (Janet) Lamb, Lakeland, FL; Mark Lamb, Kokomo, IN; one sister, Julia Barber, Logansport; seven grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, several nieces and nephews.

One great-grandchild, four sisters, two brothers and two son-in-laws, Danny Mayfield and Richard Cole, preceded in death.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 pm Tuesday March 27, 2018 in Gundrum Funeral Home with Pastor Marissa Harrison officiating. Burial will follow in Ever-Rest Memorial Park Cemetery.

Visitation will be held from 4 – 7 pm Monday March 26, 2018 in the funeral home
